Samoa golf holidays offer some of the most scenic golf holes in the South Pacific. There are two 18-hole golf courses around Apia, the slightly neglected Royal Samoa Golf Club a few km to the east of Apia downtown, and Faleata Country Club, a new championship course set slightly inland on the gentle slopes of the inland mountains which is well maintained. Both golf courses have beautiful mountain and coastal views and are open to the public with rediculously cheap ST$12 green fees. Expect to see groups of ten or more Samoans playing together the local way! Golf club and shoe hire is possible but club quality may not be to your standards - both offer Golf Carts which is extremely welcome in the intense Samoan heat.

Guests staying at Aggie Grey Hotel in Apia are offerd complimentary transfers to the Faleata Golf Club. The new Aggie Grey Beach Resort has planned a flat 18-hole course weaving amongst the coconut plantations. Ther'es also a 9-hole pitch and putt at Sinalei Reef Resort on the south coast of Upolu Island.
